Class CC Fuses

Class CC Fuses

Class CC Fuses - Fast Acting, Time Delay, and Midget - Fast Acting

A UL Class CC fuse is 600 volt AC current limiting rejection type fuse. Our CC fuses are available in Fast Acting, Midget Fast Acting, and Time Delay versions.

Fast Acting
Class CC Fast Acting fuses intended for general-purpose branch circuit protection. Solid-state devices such as SCRs and other electronic equipment generally require fast-acting protection.Their compact size, fast-acting overload response, and their highly current limiting design make them ideal for use in OEM equipment and control panels.

Time Delay
Time-delay fuses specifically designed to protect motor circuits up to 40 HP** and designed to withstand the high magnetizing inrush of transformers. Compared to other UL Listed fuses, Class CC fuses are the most current limiting, rating for rating. Because they are physically compact, they provide this superior protection in a fraction of the space required by other fuse classes. For example, when 600V three-pole, 30 ampere Class R fuse blocks are replaced by Littelfuse Class CC fuse blocks, panel-mounting space is reduced approximately 70%. This is especially important when a panel contains many fuses to protect multiple circuit components.

Fast Acting INTERRUPTING CAPACITY (CCFA SERIES)
200,000 A at 600V AC (1A-30A) 20,000 A at 300V DC (1A-30A)

Fast Acting Midget series INTERRUPTING CAPACITY (MGFA SERIES)
100,000 A at 600V AC (1A-30A) 10,000 A at 300V DC (1A-30A)

Time-Delay series INTERRUPTING CAPACITY (CCTD SERIES)
200,000 A at 600V AC (1A-30A) 10,000 A at 300V DC (9A-30A)
